Why Re-consent is Required for Existing Customers

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve performance, security, and scalability, we’re migrating our Atlassian Cloud apps from the Connect framework to the Forge framework. Forge is Atlassian’s modern cloud app development platform, designed to offer better integration with Atlassian products and enhanced data protection. Connect is the old framework, that Atlassian announced its end of support.

While the core functionality of our app remains the same, this transition requires a one-time action from you: re-consenting to our app’s integration with your Microsoft 365 tenant.

When you installed the app originally, you granted permissions to the Connect version. Now on Forge, the app operates under a different authorization model. Because of this, we need you and your Microsoft 365 tenant administrator to re-consent by going through the approval process together, as described in our documentation under Configure Microsoft 365 Access.
